Christmas Around the House {A Cozy Christmas House Tour}

Hello, friends! I’m here sharing my annual Christmas house tour: A Cozy Christmas House Tour. I do this every year because it’s fun to share my home with all of you, and link up with Jennifer Rizzo & Wayfair’s Holiday Housewalk Linky Party!  I would LOVE to have the opportunity to be on her tour of homes next year! I’m also sharing at 11 Magnolia Lane‘s link up party, as well as the Nesting Place.

On this post I’m just showing you my living and dining rooms. I live in a 1928 Tudor cottage with my family that my husband and I have renovated, and these rooms are adjacent to each other, but still “separate” spaces. This view is looking out our front door.

I’m going to try not to talk too much because I’ve got lots of pictures to share! 🙂

We did a “skinny” tree this year due to space restraints and I love it! It’s a beautiful, nearly perfect tree. And that t.v. cabinet is hopefully getting a new coat of white paint in the next couple weeks! The red has grown old!!!

This next picture is looking from the dining room into the living room. I’m LOVING the mantel this year! I went a little nuts with fresh greenery.

Here’s another view with the candles and fire going! It’s been pretty chilly here the last few days….FINALLY.

I just got this pillow from Lucy at Craftberry Bush. Her pillows are all so cute!

I did something simple with the coffee table since there’s so much going on already in the room. One of my sisters-in-law gave me this vintage Norman Rockwell Christmas book. I display it every year some way!

Now I’ll take you to the dining room…

We’re supposed to be getting rid of this piano since I have the baby grand in the living room, but we’ve been “supposed” to get rid of it for a year now, and somehow it’s still here. Ha! So I’ll just keep decorating it. This year I just displayed a portion of this nativity (it’s very large) and cut the banner from craft paper and hand lettered it with a chalk pen. I’m sure that area with cards will be overloaded in a few days!

Now I’m off to hopefully enjoy a nice cup of coffee and the twinkling lights on the tree.
