A couple weeks ago, I got to help design a booth for Butterstick Bakery & Deli (Iowa Park, TX), and Castle Events (Wichita Falls/Dallas) at the KFDX Bridal Market 2016. The event was a lot of hard work, but a lot of fun and I really enjoyed meeting a ton of people. I thought I’d share a few photos here of my projects and how the booth turned out.
I spent four hours on my hallway wood floor hand lettering this backdrop we hung on a wood pallet wall. I also did one for our ladies tea at church last year. I got the idea here. This particular one is a poem – “The Passionate Shepherd to His Love”. The “Naked Cake” in this pic (so popular right now) was DELISH!!!! This style isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I thought it looked beautiful. I want a wedding DO-OVER. Ha!
I thought the booth was missing something, so at the last minute, I added this chalkboard I keep in my dining room.
Butterstick Bakery & Deli made so many yummy things for this event! The booth stayed pretty busy all day with people coming by to taste test and get a sugar fix!
If you saw me crafting one night on Instagram, this little cake topper was in the making. It was the perfect touch to this gorgeous cake!
It was hard to get a picture of the whole booth with the lens I had on me (a new one my hubby got me for Christmas! YAY!!), so this is as good as it got. That little coffee set up belonged to the neighboring booth.
I’d say it was a successful day, and here’s hoping Butterstick and Castle Event’s get some great feedback and business from this event. If you’re planning an event, these ladies (and gent) can help you out. Everything pictured in this post is available for rent/design (including my things).
Til the next time,
Kassie
