If you read my post about the twins’ birthday party, you know I made a banner out of 3×3 Instagram prints. I ordered them at Kanvess. And I have to add that they were super cheap and shipping was very fast!
I used the leftovers for guests to choose a picture and attach to a journaling card, where they wrote sweet things to Harrison and Lyla.
Anyway, I had several left over and wanted to use them for something else, but didn’t know what.
Last Friday, I had a whole day at home to do whatever I wanted while the kids were at my in-laws. I decided I was going to figure out my new Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. This thing is so incredible! I can’t wait to really figure it all out because I know my options for crafting are endless. I’m hoping I can actually make some things for my Etsy store! 🙂  I started with an easy project, cutting the word “Love” from vinyl. I thought I would make something Valentine-ish.
I had a small canvas and some yellow paint in my craft supplies, so I painted the canvas, then adhered the vinyl. I stamped a few hearts at the bottom. I have no idea what I’m going to do with this, but I think it turned out cute. It has a few bubbles in the vinyl, but ok for my first try.
I then used the “stencil” made from the vinyl after taking out the word “love” and wrote on my kitchen chalkboard. This was great for me because I’m no good at writing prettily on my chalkboard. I bought a roll of magnet tape (I didn’t even know they made magnet tape!), and used it to make magnets out of my Instagram prints since my chalkboard is magnetic. I then made a wreath of photos around the word. What do you think? I think it made a good place for all those leftover prints, and great for Valentine’s!
til the next time,
the girl that can’t wait to print some more IG photos for another project!

I bought a silhouette machine 4 years ago and I still have no idea how to use it. You're inspiring me to look into it though. Great job!
