My kids go to a private Christian pre-school, so today they had a party and exchanged Valentines for the first time! I went the handmade route (shocker) and designed some cards for their friends. They turned out to be very inexpensive since I already had the paper on hand, and I found these little sunglasses in the Target dollar section for – you guessed it – a dollar! (You can also find party packs of sunglasses on Amazon) They have a class of 8, but excluding my kids meant I only needed 6 (but yes, I did by some cute sunnies for my two, because I knew they’d ask for them).
Anyway, if you’re not into coming up with your own ideas and you just want something available to you that’s super easy, cute, and doesn’t involve candy (because we all know they’ll get plenty of that), you can download these for free and print at home. The top sheet is the only printable part. I added colored card stock underneath with glue. Just find some cute sunglasses, measure where the frames should go, cut a slit with an exacto knife for the earpieces and there you go! Cute, original cards! I did not put these in envelopes – I just wrote “to and from” on the bottom. Oh- and the kids loved them! They were so cute, wearing them and posing for pictures! But then, I guess EVERYTHING to a 3 year old is pretty amazing!

I hope everyone has a wonderful, love-filled heart day!
Til the next time,
