Spring & Easter Around the Cottage

I’m a little late posting my Spring decorating (what little I’ve done), but since I did accomplish a little, I thought I’d share.

First off, I just got this pillow cover in from this shop on Etsy. Just enough whimsy for my taste. 🙂

We got a new couch, but the pillows that came with it didn’t match anything in my house, so this is a replacement for one of them.

Of course, my little birds are any season I want them to be. 🙂

Nothing says Spring like a vase full of fresh flowers! Hydrangeas were my wedding flowers….my favs next to Peonies.

The poor coffee table has really been through it with the twins. It was made to look vintage with some distressing, but it’s a little OVER distressed. 🙂 I don’t want anything new right now while they’re still so little…maybe some paint?

The only other room that got any decorating was the dining room. I’m once again contemplating painting the piano….what to do, what to do….

I hosted dinner on Easter Sunday, so of course my table had to be decorated! Although, I did cheat and use paper plates and plasticware since we had a short afternoon in between church services and I knew I wouldn’t have time to do all those dishes!!
