It’s been a while since I’ve checked in around here, but I wanted to share a little springtime around the house. It seems like someone around here has been sick for the last month or more. Hopefully with warmer weather (mostly) here, the sickness will leave! That said, I haven’t been accomplishing too much around the house, but I have added a few spring touches here and there.

I’ve started on the mantel, and I’ll be sure to share more when it’s complete. I’m still loving our fireplace makeover! Check that out here and here if you missed it! Also, you can see a little glimpse of our family photo gallery wall that we finished up after Christmas. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen it. I need to share more about it on the blog…..Obviously, I have more to share than I thought! 🙂
Last year, I created a succulent display on my dining room table (here). I took some of those same faux succulents and put them on the mantel this year. I still have my pink tassel garland up from my Valentine’s decorating.
Dining Room
This view, I believe, will always be my favorite in the house. Presently (until they’re too dead…ha), I have fresh stems cut from a bush in the back yard. They go nicely with the pink garland in the background. I’ve never been much on pink until recently, and it still has to be a particular shade(s), but I’ve been embracing it.
You can see a bit of a wood sign my brother made me for my birthday back in November. We just got it hung up recently because I couldn’t decide where to put it. I still need to add something on the wall around it. It says “lbs.”, if you can’t read it well. My last name is Pounds. Pretty creative of him.
Aren’t these blooms just beautiful?
Bathroom
I don’t show our bathroom much, because I feel like it needs SO much work, even though we remodeled it a few years ago (see how it looked before and after remodeling here). With it being our only bathroom (hopefully that’s going to change in the near future!), it gets a lot of wear and tear from 4 people, two who are 6 years old!!! Honestly, this decor doesn’t stay like this since it gets a lot of traffic, and it’s a tight space to begin with. But I do feel my green tub, the floors (even though the grout is awful), and the chandelier (find it here) deserve blog time! Haha! I love the green tub, but it needs to be refinished. However, we have a clawfoot tub that will probably eventually find its way in here.
You’ve already seen my spring bedroom in my last post (if you missed it, check it out here), so that pretty much wraps up what I’ve done this spring so far. I have so many projects I want to do, but need to find the energy to do them! We have started working on the twins room because it desperately needs work, but so far we’ve only gotten one coat of new paint on the walls. I hope to have more to share on that soon, so stay tuned!
I’d love for you to pin because sharing is caring! 🙂
Till the next time,
Kassie
