Hey, friends! I know it has been a while since you’ve heard from me here; an update is way past due! Life has a way of leaving a person less than inspired at times, so the blog was put on the back burner. No worries; all is well. Life is just…well, life. I’m sure you can all relate. I decided it was high time to share our modern teal dining chairs and a big life update with the blog world.
Modern Teal Dining Chairs
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen these updates, but if not, they will be new to you. First off, let me introduce you to our modern teal dining chairs! I was surfing Facebook Marketplace one night and ran across these chairs. I immediately fell in love and offered the seller a little less than she was asking (because I felt she was asking too much for used chairs). She rejected my offer and I was bummed. I kept watching them and a week or two later, offered her a little more. She countered and I took it! Now, I really needed 6 chairs so I was hesitant at first to buy them. The seller told me they came from Norway (her home), so no luck at finding two more. But I have plans to do something different in this space anyway (like a fabulous round table I have my eyes on), so I’m making do for now. (You can see how it looked before on this post)

I’ve been craving cleaner lines and more modern touches in our home, and these chairs were the perfect way to begin that transition. If you look toward the floor in the background, you can see a tiny glimpse of some amazing vintage chandeliers coming soon!
Life Update
Moving on to the life update now! We are so excited to be the new owners of Accurate Inspections and Advanced Termite Control! My husband worked for this company doing commercial and real estate inspections for several years. The previous owners decided it was time for them to retire, and they offered to sell it to us. To our amazement, it all just worked out (funny how God does these things), and we took over in October. We have learned “all the things” (almost…ha!) and are headed straight into the busiest season of the year! Check out our new logo!
